TSV Scheer hosted the traditional SPÄH Cup for the 25th time this year – and the anniversary tournament lived up to its reputation as one of the best-known and most popular preparation tournaments in the region.
From 30 July to 3 August 2025, eight teams competed in two groups for the coveted trophy, accompanied by a varied supporting program and great spectator interest.
In the SPÄH designed acoustic group, the
FV Bad Saulgau, the U21s of SC Pfullendorf, Spfr. Hundersingen and SG Scheer/Ennetach.
The SPÄH 3D printing group was made up of the
TSV Sigmaringendorf, FC Mengen, SV Hohentengen and newcomer SV Deggenhausertal.
The group matches already showed how evenly matched the field of participants was: favorites had to fight hard, while outsiders kept springing surprises.
In addition to the exciting matches, special highlights of the tournament were the city championship and the fun penalty shoot-out, which attracted over 48 teams to the pitch on Saturday evening. In keeping with the spirit of the tournament
In addition to sporting ambition, the main focus was on having fun. The AH legends match on Friday evening also attracted many visitors and provided real soccer nostalgia.
On the final day, SC Pfullendorf ‘s second team came out on top and took the title at the anniversary tournament.
FC Mengen came second, while third place went to Sportfreunde Hundersingen.
The individual awards also provided a special highlight: Timo Bischofberger from Sportfreunde Hundersingen was honored twice –
as the best player and top scorer of the tournament.
The award for best goalkeeper went to Dominic Merk from FC Mengen.
