On October 7, 2025, the SPÄH Group presented itself at the career orientation day at Theodor-Heuss-Realschule Sigmaringen. As part of the in-house education fair, a total of 34 local companies, service providers and schools had the opportunity to provide pupils in years 8 and 9 with practical insights into various careers and training paths.

Our team was able to hold numerous exciting discussions, answer questions and inspire the young people about the wide range of opportunities at SPÄH. Whether insights into industrial processes, commercial professions or the combination of practice and technology – we showed what opportunities and prospects await in our company. We were particularly impressed by the open and inquisitive nature of the students, whose energy totally inspired us.

The event offered the young people not only information about potential training companies, but also practical hands-on activities that made the potential of the individual companies tangible. At the same time, the secondary school was able to present former pupils as training ambassadors who illustrated the direct link between school and work – as Mr. Gutbrot, the main person responsible for vocational orientation at Theo, aptly put it: “We build a bridge to the world of work at school.”

We would like to thank the Theodor-Heuss-Realschule for the excellent organization and all the students for the many interesting encounters. It was a great pleasure to get to know the young people and we look forward to perhaps welcoming one or two committed new recruits to SPÄH in the near future.
