Review: Open House with HP and WÜRTH

"Process optimization through additive manufacturing"

Together with HP 3D Printing and Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG, the SPÄH Group hosted an exclusive open house in Scheer. Under the motto “Process optimization through additive manufacturing”, participants were given exciting insights into the possibilities of industrial 3D printing.

The day began with a welcome and introduction to SPÄH, followed by a tour of the production and technology centers. In technical presentations, Bernd Rath from SPÄH and Michael Worm from Würth presented practical application examples, while Fabian C. M. Schuster from HP explained the technological advantages of Multi Jet Fusion and the use of materials such as polypropylene (PP) and polyamide 12 (PA12).

The highlights of the event were the live demonstrations at the SPÄH Technology Center, where participants were able to experience additive manufacturing up close. At various stations, experts Carmen Schuler, Stefan Maurer and the SPÄH team demonstrated practical applications, answered questions and showed how topology optimizations and innovative materials can make processes more efficient and cost-saving.

The open house was rounded off with a Q&A session, one-to-one discussions and networking, where guests from southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland were able to engage in intensive discussions.

SPÄH would like to thank Michael Worm (Würth), Raffi Beglarian and Fabian Schuster (HP) as well as the entire SPÄH team for their professional support. The event was a complete success, inspiring all participants and impressively demonstrating how additive manufacturing is setting new standards for process optimization.

We are already looking forward to the next exciting projects and to continuing to share our expertise in additive manufacturing.
