The SPÄH Group had a special visitor at the weekend: the youth fire departments of the Mengen-Göge-Scheer municipal administration association carried out a realistic emergency drill on our company premises. The occasion was the start of their 24-hour exercise, during which the junior staff will be active throughout the entire municipal area from Friday, October 24 to Saturday, October 25.

A container fire was simulated on our premises, where the young people were able to put their skills to the test – from water supply to targeted firefighting. The exercise impressively demonstrated the importance of teamwork, commitment and quick reactions in everyday firefighting.

We would like to thank all our junior staff for their great commitment, ambition and professionalism. A special thank you also goes to the youth fire department itself for organizing and trusting us to use our grounds for the exercise.

Such joint activities not only strengthen team spirit, but also make it clear how valuable the work of the youth fire department is for our communities. We are already looking forward to the next joint campaign and to continuing to be a partner for such practical exercises.
